How to Make Horse gram /Kollu Powder



Ingredients:
Kollu / horse gram
Dry Chilly
Garlic
Urad dhall
Jeera
Asofodia
Oil
Salt

Steps to Make Horse gram Powder/Kollu Podi:

Heat the pan and pour (2 tsp) of cooking oil,  add dry chilies (4-5), garlic(with out peal the skin), Add the urad dhal(4 tsp), jeera (1tsp) and asofodia roast it 1-2 minutes and add 2 full cups of horsegram/kollu roast it until the colour turn into reddish brown.

Turn off the stove and keep it to cool, then put into the mixtures and add salt to taste then grind it into fine powder.

The tasty Kollu powder is ready now. You can store this powder with air tight container and you can use this powder for 2-3 weeks.

Take this kollu powder for Idlly,  Dosa , even with white rice and also you can use this powder for kollu rasam also.
